Credit Control Manager

We are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join our growing business, managing and supporting the Credit Controllers on the day-to-day operations. Review of ledgers with direct reports, monthly reporting for the Board Meetings and assisting in setting up credit control processes.
What you will be doing:
- Monthly review of ledgers with stakeholders – aged debt, balances in dispute, exposure and credit risk, drive over 120+ reconciliation
- Prepare reports for the monthly Board Meeting, Cash forecasting and setting monthly cash collection targets
- Own accurate forecasting of cash inflow for the Group, using AR ledger and combining sales forecasts, in conjunction with commercial finance
- Manage, motivate and develop direct reports to achieve personal and company KPIs
- Attend and participate in meetings with Sales Directors/VP’s and Country Managers to build relationships and profile of Credit as well as dealing with debtor issues
- Daily order management meetings, sales reviews and key account reviews with Heads of Sales for Export and Direct Markets.
- Assessing the risk for customers, recommend and negotiate payment terms and credit limit
- Assisting in setting up credit control processes, and represent the department in the wider interdepartmental discussions about global processes and policies.
What we need from you:
- Experience in a B2B retail or FMCG / manufacturing environment
- Experienced with monthly reporting using MS Office and other reporting tools
- NetSuite, SAP cloud-based ERP knowledge
- Methodical approach to tasks who demonstrates a calm demeanour under pressure, ability to work to tight deadlines
- Detail oriented, able to deal with complex issues and propose changes to improve our current processes
- Excellent people skills with strong ability to communicate and build with internal and external stakeholders
