Key Account Manager – USA

We are one of the world’s leading housewares brands with a global presence spanning over 100 countries, available in most major & independent Retailers across multiple channels of distribution worldwide, as well as our rapidly growing ecommerce channel.
We are expanding our team in the US and looking for a Key Account Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Sales (USA), you will be responsible for managing multiple key customers, utilizing a strategic, omni-channel approach, focused on delivering profitable and sustainable growth.
What you will be doing:
- Identify & drive new customer opportunities
- Grow existing accounts, focused both on short and long-term growth objectives, developing partnership and driving the Joseph Joseph brand message
- Meet and exceed all KPIs for your customer and channel portfolio
- Devise and execute comprehensive and profitable account plans, JBP’s and promotional activity, regularly reviewing and refining with each key account
- Provide insights on competitor activity in the market, identify changes and emerging trends in customer and consumer buying patterns
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support best in class operational initiatives, focusing on servicing our customers with excellence
- Contribute to overall success of organization, engaging as a team player, sharing in responsibilities, pivoting when needed, & identifying opportunities to grow professionally, benefiting the organization, your customers and yourself
What we need from you:
- Proven experience managing and growing sales for a Consumer Products company, operating at a Key Account Manager level or equivalent
- Established experience across channels of distribution including but not limited to: Specialty, Mass, Department Stores, or Grocery
- Developing & implementing JBPs, customer account plans, & trade marketing activities while maintaining budgets & focusing on improving bottom-line profit
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal disciplines including key contributor to S&OP, Marketing & Customer Service
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels while providing a quality, customer orientated approach
- Ability to travel within the US and attend trade shows as needed
- A degree within a business discipline is highly desirable
