Credit Controller - France

We are looking for an experienced French Credit Controller to join our Finance team, reporting to the Credit Manager and managing the French ledger.
What you will be doing:
- Day to day management of Joseph Joseph French accounts
- Posting and allocating payments according to remittance advice received
- Raising all relevant transactions for payment reconciliations
- Working towards monthly cash collection targets and reducing the overall level of 90+ overdue debt
- Main point of contact for account related queries for Customer Service, Sales, Operations and Commercial Finance
- Liaising with Customer Services and Sales to coordinate the dispute management process.
- Reconciliation of debit notes and deductions against credits on customer accounts
- Monthly account reconciliation and issue statements
- Monthly review of the account with Credit Control Manager and sales team
What we need from you:
- Experience in a B2B retail environment
- Fluent French language skills (written and speaking) is a must
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- ERP knowledge advantageous
- Excellent people skills with strong ability to communicate with internal colleagues and external customers regarding all AR matters
- Methodical approach to tasks who demonstrates a calm demeanor under pressure
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
