We are looking for an experienced French Credit Controller to join our Finance team, reporting to the Credit Manager and managing the French ledger.

What you will be doing:

• Day to day management of Joseph Joseph French accounts
• Posting and allocating payments according to remittance advice received
• Raising all relevant transactions for payment reconciliations
• Working towards monthly cash collection targets and reducing the overall level of 90+ overdue debt
• Main point of contact for account related queries for Customer Service, Sales, Operations and Commercial Finance
• Liaising with Customer Services and Sales to coordinate the dispute management process. 
• Reconciliation of debit notes and deductions against credits on customer accounts
• Monthly account reconciliation and issue statements
• Monthly review of the account with Credit Control Manager and sales team

What we need from you:

• Experience in a B2B retail environment
• Fluent French language skills (written and speaking) is a must
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• ERP knowledge advantageous
• Excellent people skills with strong ability to communicate with internal colleagues and external customers regarding all AR matters
• Methodical approach to tasks who demonstrates a calm demeanor under pressure
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
