This role reports directly to the Director of Packaging, Retail and Digital Creative, and involves working closely with our Trade Marketing team, and primarily to two seasonal launches a year. The role requires a highly-organised individual who is able to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once and deliver outstanding results, on budget and to deadlines set out in critical paths. The successful candidate must be a highly-motivated, hands-on creative with the ability to see a brief through from initial concept to final delivery and eager to push the brand forward with industry-leading design.

What you will be doing:

• Design and project management of all Joseph Joseph in-store retail displays, including bespoke shop-in-shops, pop-up stores, permanent furniture, window displays, merchandisers and point-of-sale, including cardboard display units and permanent POS.
• Design and project management of all Joseph Joseph trade show/exhibition stands, including key global industry shows and local-market events
• Create high-quality digital renders and/or animations for in-store retail displays, planograms, sales presenters, website and packaging as required
• Collaborate effectively with the Trade Marketing team to continually improve in-store brand presence and product presentation
• Design and maintenance of our head-office showroom, showcasing our latest products and retail displays
• Stay on top of latest innovations and changes in retail design, propose new ideas/practice and where possible champion sustainable materials and print techniques

What we need from you:

• An undergraduate (or masters) degree in Retail/Product Design or related course
• A minimum of 2 years industry experience creating bold and inventive retail designs
• Excellent experience and skills in industry-standard 3D design and rendering software, including Solidworks, KeyShot and Adobe Creative Suite alongside Microsoft Office applications
• A strong portfolio demonstrating effective brand and product retail display, bold POS ideas and excellent visualisation skills
• Excellent organisational, verbal and visual communication skills
• A positive, pro-active attitude with a balanced ‘creative and commercial’ approach to retail design
• Excellent understanding of all relevant materials and manufacturing techniques/processes
