We are looking for a talented Senior Digital Art Director to join the team. As a Senior Digital Art Director, you’ll play an instrumental role in the development of the Joseph Joseph brand. Pushing the work forward at every stage, your work will leave its mark across brand transformation projects, digital marketing campaigns, social media and digital product design.

What you will be doing:

• Creative
• Strategic vision: Play an instrumental role in influencing the strategic brand vision. Growing desired brand associations through your work (shoots, motion, copy tone). You’re passionate about big ideas and storytelling, as well as the minutiae of design craft.
• Social media art direction: Plan, organize, and art-direct product and lifestyle shoots and guidelines to ensure our editorial and content assets are social first and create a unique brand signature.
• Video content creation: Storyboard, organize, and art-direct video content to promote key new season products and best-sellers, collaborating with the e-commerce team to ensure assets are optimized for digital channels, including the company website and social media.
• Digital design leadership: Demonstrate digital design best practice and lead the creation of digital content for your campaigns across all channels, including email, web stores, and social channels.
• Management
• Mentor and inspire: Guide and support your team, helping them achieve their objectives, deliverables, and creative goals. Your leadership will inspire them to excel and produce their best work.
• Effective time management: Manage the use of our creative resource effectively, getting input early and understanding where to apply our efforts pending on the value that that project brings to the brand and commercial targets.
• Design reviews: Provide constructive feedback to freelancers, designers, and videographers on all aspects of motion, artwork, graphic design, from daily emails and social media assets to digital campaigns for new launches.
• External Resource Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with our roster of creative freelancers, including photographers, video producers, locations, and studios, ensuring high-quality resources are available.
• Budget Management: Navigate budget constraints with resourcefulness, devising innovative options to meet the brief while staying within financial limits.

What we need from you:

• Must Have:
• Superb referencing skills that demonstrate what "good" looks like.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Advanced skills in Figma and Design System Management.
• At least 8 years of design/art direction experience in an agency or in-house in a similar role, OR a portfolio of work that demonstrates your experience with the core responsibilities of the role. Please note. We do not accept applications without portfolios attached.
• Desirable:
• Experience with video editing software.
• Previous experience with aspirational lifestyle products or home interiors industry.
• Previous experience partnering with content tastemakers and creators.
• A well-connected "black book" of creative partners and suppliers.
• Experience scouting locations and casting.
