Head of Field Sales (m/w/d) - Germany

We are looking for an experienced Head of Field Sales to join the German team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing a robust field sales strategy. You will build a high-performing sales team, win new business, and strengthen existing client relationships across retail, wholesale, and specialist channels. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling our presence and delivering commercial success in the German market.
What you will be doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the national field sales strategy in alignment with overall commercial goals.
- Team Management & Development: Lead & grow a field sales team. Set targets, track performance, and foster a results-driven culture.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including major accounts.
- Account Management: Deepen relationships with existing customers to maximize value and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Sales Operations & Analytics: Oversee territory planning, sales forecasting and KPIs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with functions in the UK head office such as trade marketing and supply chain teams to ensure alignment.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics and product positioning.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience in field sales leadership within the housewares or consumer goods sector.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling field sales teams.
- Strong track record of onboarding national retail accounts.
- Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Germany.
